Silence is Consent

If you don't speak up you accept what is happening. This site was born out of the mainstream media's inability to cover the news. I am just an American cititzen trying to spread the word in the era of FCC consolidation, post 9/11 Patriot Act hysteria, hackable voting machines and war without end. I rant and post news items I perceive to be relevant to our current situation.

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
- Thomas Jefferson

Not much talk today, just the headlines.

Krugman is at it again: Dereliction of Duty.

This makes me feel safe: GAO Faults U.S. Effort to Secure Dirty Bomb Material.

How are things going in Iraq you ask? America's rebuilding of Iraq is in chaos, say British.

William Rivers Pitt on what happened to the WMD's: The Dog Ate My WMDs.

This is some weird stuff: Secrecy shrouds Halliburton hiring frenzy at Houston hotel.

John Mellencamp has a new album, Trouble No More. I recommend going to his site and watching the video for "To Washington".
