If you don't speak up you accept what is happening. This site was born out of the mainstream media's inability to cover the news. I am just an American cititzen trying to spread the word in the era of FCC consolidation, post 9/11 Patriot Act hysteria, hackable voting machines and war without end. I rant and post news items I perceive to be relevant to our current situation.

Oops or oh well, whichever you prefer, U.S. Raid in Afghanistan May Have Missed Target

I'm not sure what to make of thisEx-Sen. Kerrey Joins Sept. 11 Commission. Here is a quote from the article:
Former Rep. Tim Roemer, D-Ind., who has also criticized the commission's dealings with the White House, praised the selection of Kerrey.

"This is a very solid and smart choice," Roemer said. "Bob Kerrey, with his intelligence background and his political experience, can hit the ground in a full sprint."
This words in bold do not comfort me. That says "insider" to me and that is the last thing we need on this commission.
