If you don't speak up you accept what is happening. This site was born out of the mainstream media's inability to cover the news. I am just an American cititzen trying to spread the word in the era of FCC consolidation, post 9/11 Patriot Act hysteria, hackable voting machines and war without end. I rant and post news items I perceive to be relevant to our current situation.

If you believe you still live in a Democracy and would like to keep it that way then you need to make sure you understand what is going on with voting machines in this country. For a good overview go to Verfiedvoting.org. Some good overview materials that can get you up to speed.

I may be overreacting on this but once you understand what has been happening and what is possible to happen with the new machines the potential for vote rigging is enormous. For anyone that wants the long version the resource so far on this issuer is Black Box Voting. She has a book that you can download one chapter at a time. I've read most of it and it will scare you into action!
