Silence is Consent

If you don't speak up you accept what is happening. This site was born out of the mainstream media's inability to cover the news. I am just an American cititzen trying to spread the word in the era of FCC consolidation, post 9/11 Patriot Act hysteria, hackable voting machines and war without end. I rant and post news items I perceive to be relevant to our current situation.

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

Now that several ex-administration officials have told us now that Iraq was the main war/foreign policy concern of this administration that fact should no longer be quibbled over. Now I think to a certain extent last week most of the big problems were not even spoken about as far as the 9/11 commission is concerned. Ever heard the Latin term Cui Bono? When I see things like this it makes me think about American History class. Of, by, and for the people. Really. This is so heinous that your corporate media will not touch it. So in some respects last week may have been contrived. Put Clarke on let him spout. We defend ourselves against the fact that maybe we didn't do enough to protect the country from terrorism. But who could have known this was coming? Now we are ready. The timing of this is strange. I also believe that when these big bruhahas arise that it is being done to keep our eyes off of the real problem/crime/cover-up.

There is still time to save you country
It's Midnight in America
We have moved from Reagan's "Morning in America" to Bush's "Midnight in America" in less than 20 years.

This is the darkest hour for our nation, when lies, deception and political vengeance -- at the expense of our national security -- are the primary skill set of the executive branch and its subsidiaries: a Republican controlled Congress and an increasingly Republican controlled judiciary, with five Supreme Court votes lined up to side with the GOP on important partisan issues, like the theft of a presidency.
