This needs to kept in mind when thinking about Bush, the "truth" and a his agenda run counter to each other. The Bush administration needs war, needs a deficit, needs a higher unemployment rate, needs you to be afraid. Although he would never admit it. The war is needed to keep defense spending high. The deficit is needed to cut social programs. High unemployment is needed so these "cheap labor conservatives" labor stays cheap. And of course your fear is needed so you will not question what your leader is doing to the homeland. All of these help his agenda to make sure he and his buddies--corporations, and in particular the military industrial complex--steal the treasury. If you ask Bush though he is not for any of these things even though his actions contradict him. So from now on we should no longer listen to what he says we should look at what he does. Oh yeah, and what allowed all of this to take place? Well it starts with a 9 and ends with an 11. It always goes back to that!
