If you don't speak up you accept what is happening. This site was born out of the mainstream media's inability to cover the news. I am just an American cititzen trying to spread the word in the era of FCC consolidation, post 9/11 Patriot Act hysteria, hackable voting machines and war without end. Juan Cole helps illuminate the problem with the media in this country, Breaking News: Government to Be Formed.

I have purposefully not written anything about the shooting of Giuliana Sgrena and Nicola Calipari. Things like this usually take a week to 10 days for everything to come out. Hmm, sounds like someone forgot to tell Negroponte's boys that the Italians were coming.
